Programs That Can Help

The programs meet every day after school at Turn About for approximately 3 hours, during which time youth participate in individual, family and group counseling. Doctoral and Masters level counselors work closely with the young person and his or her family to prevent or eliminate adolescent substance abuse, improve self-esteem, create effective discipline, and improve family communication. Services are available on a sliding fee scale.
Outpatient Services: Turn About offers weekly outpatient counseling to children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing a wide variety of problems including but not limited to substance abuse, behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, anger, and family issues. Evaluation/ assessment services are also available. Services are based on a sliding fee scale.
School Intervention Program: This program provides free on-site assessment and referral services in Leon County Schools to students who are referred for behavioral or substance abuse problems.
